Assisted in gathering supplies and then filling backpacks for children and families in local transitional shelters. We gathered $450 worth of supplies to fill a number of backpacks for a month. Our supplies helped fill backpacks for the next 6 months.

I presented on Legit Tech Strategies. How can technology be better used to engage students and enhance their learning? Explored affordable ways to incorporate technology, with or without being one-to-one school, to prepare students to be choice ready.
I attended sessions on the relationship between trauma and learning, other technology methods, 21st century skills.
College Career Fair Presenter (Fall 2018)
I presented alongside Dr. Rod Jonas, Dean of Liffirig Family School of Education and Behavior Sciences, on Growth mindset to 600+ junior and seniors.
Through the Northeastern Education Services Cooperative, I accompanied Dr. Rod Jonas (Dean of LFSEBS) and Dr. Steven Young (professor) to Tate Topa Tribal School and Warwick School to present to junior high students about growth experiences. I shared personal experiences that demonstrated the Growth Mindset cycle: belief, action, and results.
